Phoebe Burgess (nee Hooke) is a freelance writer and TV Presenter, based in Sydney, with over 5 years experience in the Australian media industry. After starting out her career in television, producing on Australia's leading breakfast program, Sunrise, she moved into the glossy world of magazines. Phoebe spent two years as the News and Entertainment Writer (dabbling in lifestyle and health) across two iconic Australian titles; CLEO and DOLLY. In that time, she was responsible for interviews, coordinating photo shoots and cover stories with a range of talent including; movie stars, bands, solo artists, fashion designers, models and sports personalities. She compiled the entertainment pages across both monthlies and wrote features in the realms of; relationships, news, social reports, real-life reads, health, career, fashion, sex and dating.

For over a year, Phoebe also held a permanent Showbiz segment on national TV program Nine News Now commentating on fashion, entertainment news including; features, daily and breaking entertainment news. 

In November 2014, Phoebe moved to Bath in the United Kingdom with her Rugby playing husband, Sam Burgess. She continued to work as a freelance word-generator across multiple titles back in Australia as well as securing a monthly column with Bath Life magazine covering her new lifestyle in the Georgian city - which eventually became a blog showcasing their lives in Eruope. During the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup, Phoebe also made regular appearances on ITV's Good Morning Britain. To keep busy in between commissions, she kept up her studies to become a Pilates Instructor after a long-held desire to turn this passion into a career.

Side Note: If we go way back, she has a BA(Media and Communications) from the University of Sydney, speaks fluent french and is a tennis enthusiast with the dream of going to Wimbledon (as a spectator).
