That 70's Love A-Flare

There's no denying silhouettes and details of our late and beloved-Bowie era have made a triumphant return to mainstream dressing. Whether you've even realised it or not, versions of the looks we admired as 'costume' on Ashton and Mila circa That 70s Show have crept back into our closetsTan leather, flared sleeves, flared denim, all-in-ones, bell sleeves, crochet and mellow yellows have been reintroduced, reinvented and reinvigorated.

Admittedly, it was my least favourite era. With my fashion-third-eye carefully honed during the 2000's, the idea of browns and yellows, prints reminiscent of shower curtains, flowing dresses and cork just seemed...old. I understood and even revelled in; the flower-child shift dressing 60s, the shoulder-pad-glitter appeal of the 80s, the barely-there 90's (also making it's comeback via chokers) but the 70's, for me was the undiscovered and totally 'uninteresting' era, until now.
